For the past 13 years I've been trying to get across to people just how Flaky Spacial Audio software is. Fact: SAM Broadcaster Pro Crashes A Lot! My Blog posts have saved users from the Hell that is SAM Broadcaster I used SAM Broadcaster from 2001 to 2010 and believe me I know all of its little QUIRKS and ISSUES Rather than take the Criticism of SAM Broadcaster on board Spacial Audio appear to have completely retreated into a corner. I've never known another Software company who are so outwardly PARANOID They've built a wall around them and won't help people or enter into conversations about how AWFUL their software offerings are. AFAIK Spacial have only 1 developer when they do a release its for stuff thats stopped working in previous versions. Spacial Audio rarely introduce new features into SAM Broadcaster Pro I'm utterly amazed people still buy into SAM Broadcaster

I’ve been accused of lying about the problems that SAM Broadcaster suffers from. I am NOT lying or making anything up things really are as bad as it gets with SAM Broadcaster The problems documented on my Blog are just a few of the reasons as to why I think SAM Broadcaster software isn’t worth the $$$ Spacial Audio charge for it I used the program for over 10 years so I know all of it’s ANNOYING QUIRKS SAM caused me no end of stress. I looked at the Spacial Audio's social media feeds recently and couldn't help but notice an angry user venting about issues with SAM Broadcaster I have SAM Broadcaster Pro on two laptops neither will work because of constant crashing issues I cannot DJ because your software keeps letting me down I have had to shut my radio station down I can sympathise with the user venting his frustrations. I used SAM Broadcaster for over 10 years and had nothing but headaches with constant crashing/buffering & freezing issues. When SAM Broadcaster Pro crashed it would take the database with it. As there is no way to backup or restore the database in SAM Broadcaster you have to prat around reinstalling everything. I've been watching tweets from a SAM Broadcaster user who's been having stability issues with SAM on Windows 11 Hey @spacial when are you going to fix Sam Broadcaster Pro? It crashes on Windows 11 over-and-over-and-over again when I am running my show! As the topic of the post suggests its not just SAM Broadcaster Pro/Studio that suffers with stability problems. Other Spacial Audio software suffers from the same problem especially SAM DJ (Formerly SAM Party DJ) These were recent searches that came through on Google Analytics SAM DJ shutting down after 15 minutes on Windows 10. I've been into Internet radio and streaming for years now. It started out with me tuning into a LIVE365 Station in 1999. In that time I've spent a lot of time using and testing various radio automation solutions. Although my interest in Internet radio had started in 1999 it was 2002 before I had a Broadband connection. Radio automation software offerings back in 2002 were PANTS. You didn't have a great deal of choice. I tried Winamp with DSP plugins to try and stream but I ended up with large gaps of silence between songs so that wasn't ideal. Winamp would casually crash when you least wanted it to. An unstable DSP Plugin was usually to blame for that. Badly written Plugins were common back in Winamp's heyday! It's always nice seeing other people switching from SAM Broadcaster Pro to RadioDJ radio playout software. Read a Tweet from another user having issues getting support from Spacial Audio They've told this user to switch their Firewall & Security off. My radio station has been off for 3 weeks I contacted Spacial customer service They told me to switch the Firewall and Security off Thats dangerous advice from Spacial Audio the Firewall & Security protects a users computer. As to why their SAM software doesn't play nicely with the Windows Firewall is anyones guess. The CODE of SAM Broadcaster Pro/Studio is Awful at best and still crashes time after time. RadioDJ FREE radio Automation doesn't require the Firewall or Security to be switched off. Spacial Audio Support really do NOT know their Arse from their Elbow

This program had been on my radar for quite a while I downloaded, installed & then thats where it started going wrong, You cannot test the software without registering. I'm picky who has my details so I'm not registering just to test it. Apparently the EULA for the software is quite strict as to what you can and cannot do. Dictating what people can and can't do with your software is only going to lead them to use something else without such restrictions.
