Stability? RadioDJ Has That In Spades

I've been into Internet radio for a long time now (Over 20 Years) In all those years I've learnt a lot of things about streaming on the Internet. It's been a fun thing to learn about although at times it's been hard work because software wasn't up to the job. The biggest problem I've encountered when it came to Internet radio automation offerings was always been the lack of Reliability & Stability I couldn't get a stream to hold up for longer than a few hours let alone days with certain software. I don't appear to have that problem with RadioDJ FREE radio automation software. I began using RadioDJ v1.3.7.0 back in 2010 and that worked great running the music for the radio stream I had going. A few months later v1.6.0 came out and that was even better and served me well until we started testing the 1.6.x.x Beta versions. Now That's What I Call An Uptime (RadioDJ)

Looked on the RadioDJ forums recently to find a post on the Testimonials section from a user called Capt Dave. His copy of RadioDJ v1.8.2 stayed up and running for 4 years, His uptime was ruined by Magic Smoke from the Laptop. Congratulations on making that amazing milestone Captain Dave. I'm more Impressed by Windows XP staying booted for that amount of time If I could afford the electric there's no doubt I'd have my copy of RadioDJ running non stop 24/7 too. I knew how stable RadioDJ was from the period when we streamed for a now defunct radio station The only thing that got in the way of uptime are Windows Updates there's no escaping them if you want a secure computer. When there has been a major issue it turned out to be Computer hardware related Disc Drives have been the main culprit in any downtime since 2010 I switched to Sold State drives SSD about 10 years ago and the they're still going strong. RadioDJ is FREE so you hav
