Now That's What I Call An Uptime (RadioDJ)
Looked on the RadioDJ forums recently to find a post on the Testimonials section from a user called Capt Dave.
His copy of RadioDJ v1.8.2 stayed up and running for 4 years, His uptime was ruined by Magic Smoke from the Laptop.
Congratulations on making that amazing milestone Captain Dave.
I'm more Impressed by WindowsXP staying booted for that amount of time
If I could afford the electric there's no doubt I'd have my copy of RadioDJ running non stop 24/7 too.
I knew how stable RadioDJ was from the period when we streamed for a now defunct radio station
The only thing that got in the way of uptime are Windows Updates there's no escaping them if you want a secure computer.
When there has been a major issue it turned out to be Computer hardware relatedDisc Drives have been the main culprit in any downtime since 2010
I switched to Sold State drives SSD about 10 years ago and the they're still going strong.
