Key:
1 There will be a PRO version of RadioDJ but the free version will still be available
2 Support for SAM Broadcaster can be abysmal at times users can wait days/weeks for an answer (IF THEY GET AN ANSWER AT ALL)
3 Encoding can be done via a stand alone encoding program
4 Older versions of SAM Broadcaster 2/3/4 won't work on Windows 8/10/11
5 More file types can be added from the BASS Library https://www.un4seen.com/
6 One user reported 4 years uptime from RadioDJ v1.8.2.0
7 There can be difficult PAL scripts to learn for advanced automation
8 You CANNOT run multiple instances due to restrictions in the EULA 1 licence = 1 station
9 The sound processing in SAM can be difficult to setup users often report poor and distorted audio
10 Once You have tested the Demo Spacial Audio assume you are satisfied with the software and WON'T give REFUNDS
So there you have it. I've compared the 2 pieces of software just as someone asked me to
I still come to the same conclusion everytime.
I feel SAM Broadcaster isn't worth the money Spacial Audio charge for the programWith its lack of reliability, buffering and crashing issues
The encoder BUFFERING Issue extends to over 28 pages of posts on the SAM Broadcaster Forums
All of those Users have been told its THEIR connection at fault when its the software NOT streaming reliably.
FACT: Standalone Encoding Software holds up longer than SAM Encoders
I've never seen where the VALUE FOR MONEY is in any of Spacial Audio's software.
It crashed on an install of Windows 11 only Sam Broadcaster was installedIt ran for 3 or 4 hours but in the end it always crashed
There are far too many silly and unnecessary restrictions on Spacial Audio software.
The SOFTWARE may not be used on multiple computersYou may only install and use ONE copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT per License
Despite Spacial Audio's claims RadioDJ is 100% FREE Once setup and working RadioDJ will work as an automation program should without anyone keeping an eye on it
RadioDJ is available for use by any DJ or any radio station anywhere in the known universe.
Reasons to Use RadioDJ:

I've used RadioDJ since 2010 & it has been really reliable & stableIt has NEVER let me down when I've used it for my automation needs
When there has been an issue with RadioDJ not playing songs, It's always been a problem with the PC/Hardware
Disc drives FAILING have been the main culprit in any downtime since I first started using the software.
I've since switched to Solid State Drives and I've had no downtime in the time I've been using RadioDJ on SSD
Make the switch to RadioDJ It will make your station & stream sound PROFESSIONAL
RadioDJ doesn't have silly restrictions you are free to use it: Where you want, When you want, How you want.
EULA = End User Licence agreement.
