You Won't Get Support And You Certainly WON'T Get A Refund

Image
Theres a SAM Broadcaster user kicking off on Social Media about not being able to get a refund from Spacial Audio. Not happy with the evaluation of service? TOUGH! Spacial Audio will take your money and give you Zero support You can Shout, You can Scream, You can talk to a Brick wall BUT YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND People are unable to get a refund on a product they purchased In GOOD FAITH Spacial Audio won't answer messages asking for money back It says in the EULA that If you have tested the demo they assume you are satisfied. We DO NOT offer refunds because of our 14-day free trial version which allows users to try the product for free and make sure they are satisfied with it Even when we purchased SAM Broadcaster in 2010 there was a NO REFUND policy. Its why Software companies sometime SUCK and its another reason I now avoid paid for software. Spacial Audio don't like giving support after they've taken your MONE

SAM Broadcaster Pro How Good Is It?

Image
This was a question I saw askd by someone on a Forum. Q: SAM Broadcaster Pro: How good is it? A: IMHO It's not a very good piece of software & it's not worth the $299 & $699 pricetags SAM Broadcaster can be extremely tricky for a novice to setup it gets confusing having 5 different database options on first run. Firebird is the worst of the database options and is flaky and unstable. Firebird can only hold around 50,000 tracks in its database so no good if you have a large library (100K+) of songs I installed SAM Broadcaster with the help of a software engineer We used the included Firebird server That worked well for a few days then SAM wouldn't restart I'd have to start over again reinstalling from scratch SAM fails to the point where it crashes at least once a day Its taking ALL the fun out of this We often hear users reporting crashing/activation issues with SAM Broadcaster often taking stations off air for a few

The Only Way To Get Help With SAM Broadcaster PRO

Image
The support department at Spacial Audio are an utter shambles when it comes to how they operate. It transpires Spacial Audio support will only reply to your support ticket if you have a valid licence key or registered email address on their system. I couldn’t receive assistance due to a licence key discrepancy They actually implied I wasn't telling the truth, now they are no longer answering support requests I'm now getting 'this ticket is now closed' replies The SAM Broadcaster Pro activation/registration component never works properly. @spacial My husband's license key is not valid although his account is paid The only way to contact the Help Desk is to have a valid key This isn't the 1st time this happened more than 7 times the key arbitrarily invalidates Because it doesn't require registration keys or online activations! Here's the thing that's the email I used. On customer-facing side I'm getting requests f

Who's Using Marketing Gimmicks Now? (Spacial Audio)

Image
A couple of years back I was accused by Spacial Audio of using GIMMICKS when it comes to my promotion of Radio DJ software. Dear Spacial Audio my Blog posts are NOT Gimmicks The software I promote doesn't require any marketing gimmicks as its 100% FREE The links I have in my posts are links to RadioDJ tutorials, Downloads or other sites with useful software & information. The exact origin of the word ‘gimmick’ is unknown But there is one theory that it comes from the word ‘gimac’ an anagram of ‘magic’ Spacial are the ones using marketing gimmicks as there are lots of links for their products in their blog posts. Even posts about stuff thats nothing to do with Spacial Audio even end up with links to their products. Spacial Audio are struggling for sales of their software and they seem to be using blatant & desperate gimmicks! The fact t

Sam Broadcaster Pro Crack, Patch, Serial & Registration Key

Image
I wrote an article about the amount of Tweets there were with people offering keys and cracks for SAM Broadcaster Pro It still shows no sign of slowing down, There are still people trying to hawk the latest versions. Between 2014 and 2019 approx 211,080 people looked at the posts about SAM Broadcaster Pro cracks on my website. If all those hits had been potential customers of Spacial Audio Solutions that would mean $63,112,920 in lost sales! You can see how bad the problem is just from the figures. Its a big issue with radio automation software that requires registration keys or activations Has anyone got any SAM Broadcaster Pro Master Keys? We think this is because some people who get into Internetradio as a hobby can't afford $$$ for radio playout software? Nothing changes I see Tweets on an almost daily basis. It proves there are IDIOTS out there desperate to get an illegal copy of SAM Broadcaster The Spacial Audio user zone is th

Don't Stream With Spacial Audio? No Support!

Image
A user has been refused help from the Spacial Audio support help desk because he isn't using their streaming services. Spacial Support have come back to this user and stated because he isn't using their streaming services (Cheapest stream) they can't help him. Passive aggressive customer support is putting it mildly. I purchased two different services and got refused help based on who we stream with? Now we are on our own it would appear. This isn't the first case we've heard of but we're sure there are users who haven't been given support either because of their streaming host. Does anyone else see the problem here? Its utterly bizarre that Spacial Audio don't appear to want to help people with their software and its issues. Spacial Audio do NOT know the meaning of customer service. There is NEVER an excuse to treat a paying customer badly, I was taught that on a retail course back in the late 1980s. Don't

Very Upset with Spacial Audio Technical Support

Image
The Spacial Audio support department strike again! I have been a Sam Broadcaster customer for over 15 years I have reinstalled a PC and when I wanted to activate my license it did not allow me I've been writing to Spacial technical support for two day and they won't give me a solution I have my radio station losing thousands of listeners. I don't know what to do anymore It appears the activation system is yet again causing users issues even if they've deactivated before reinstalling Things like this should NEVER happen with radio automation software. A radio DJ needs software to work so they can do their job or hobby It all stems from the fact SAM Broadcaster was pirated a LOT back in the days on 4.x.x versions. Spacial Audio introduced the activation requirement to cut down on the amount of pirated copies of SAM Broadcaster Pro there were out there. A former Spacial Audio employee posted this: I helped b

I Guess It Leaves Me With NO Other Option (SAM DJ)

Image
I look at the Spacial Audio SAM Broadcaster/SAM DJ forums regularly. I witnessed a post from a user whom it appears is having subscription issues with SAM DJ (Formerly SAM PARTY DJ) I guess it leaves me with no other option then. Seeing that I paid for my copy of Sam DJ I really feel cheated because I never expected Spacial Audio to be so Deceptive This is not the first time Spacial Audio have been called out for being SHYSTERS The subscription model that Spacial Audio use is AWFUL at best and the activation servers keep locking genuine users out. I don't like software that has online activation requirements or keys. This user could do worse than use RadioDJ it has a better crossfade & stability than SAM DJ. IF I were still doing discos I'd probably be using RadioDJ to run my set with. There is better software than SAM DJ well better than anything SPACIAL AUDIO CODE. 1) Mixxx (FREE) 2) Virtual DJ 3) Traktor

Sorry That You Are Having Trouble With The Application (Sam Broadcaster Pro)

Image
Saw a Blog post from Spacial Audio. Seems like they've finally acknowledged there are major flaws with SAM Broadcaster We are sorry that you are having trouble with the application and we want to help you resolve this problem as swiftly as possible In order to do achieve this, the more specific information you can provide the more likely it is we can solve the problem quickly The blog post goes onto give examples of common errors that SAM Broadcaster throws up every now and then. If you've used SAM Broadcaster for a long time you will no doubt have ran into a serious violation type error every now and then. Don't say you haven't because that would be a big fat hairy LIE! So why the sudden change of attitude by Spacial Audio? They've gone from years of burying their heads in the sand to suddenly wanting to fix problems within their software. The program still has the same glaring bugs it had way back in 200

Dumping Sam Broadcaster For RadioDJ

Image
I visited the SAM Broadcaster page on Facebook recently and saw this post. We are dumping SAM Broadcaster in favour of RadioDJ 1) We have numerous remote DJs who want to do shows on our station and to purchase DJ Seats from Spacial Audio for them would work out very very expensive, whereas RadioDJ is FREE 2) We have had numerous problems with SAM that do not seem exclusive to us: Remote show script keeps dropping out Audio crackling when using SAM On reboot SAM will not connect to the database whether it's Firebird or MySQL After a system restart SAM won't start requiring a complete re-install of SAM Encoders stopping for no reason at all, plus various other issues. I could cope if SAM Broadcaster was free but we paid for this software Which is flaky to say the least 3) SAM keeps freezing when searching for tracks 4) RadioDJ is much more pleasing to the eye 5) RadioDJ looks & sounds much more professional

SAM Broadcaster Problems Unique?

Image
Spacial Audio don’t like users asking on social media if anyone else is suffering with stability issues with SAM Broadcaster Pro If you could let us handle customer queries as customer problems are unique Yes that’s what we’ll call the problems with Spacial Audio software Unique Unique because no one else codes radio playout software that crashes like SAM Broadcaster I can understand how easy it is to get frustrated with SAM Broadcaster as a program. I spent years trying to get it to hold up for longer than 3 days at a time. It has NEVER worked as it was designed. SAM Broadcaster started life in 1999 as a badly designed hobby broadcaster application. The software still contains the same bugs that were in the program way back in 2002. All the while Spacial still took money from customers without doing much to fix the glaring BUGS in the software. Seriously though IF Spacial Audio don’t start sorting the stability issues with SAM th

Spacial Audio Does Not Support PAL Scripting

Image
If its not one thing its another when it comes to Spacial Audio and their software support. Just seen this on the Spacial Forums from the customer service manager after someone was asking for help with a PAL Script. Spacial Audio does not support PAL scripts No support can be provided nor responsibility accepted So you don't support what is a pretty big feature in SAM Broadcaster Pro Its this sort of attitude from the customer support department that makes Spacial Audio look like a JOKE of a company. Mind PAL Scripts have a nasty habit of crashing SAM Broadcaster especially if they aren't coded correctly. Memory Leaks are an inherent problem of how the PAL engine is designed If you design bad PAL scripts you get memory leaks & It's easier to design a bad PAL script than to design a good one It's not like Memory Leaks were an unavoidable problem I could never get PAL scripts to work without SAM Broadcaster Pro spitting its dummy out and

Does Anyone Still Buy SAM Broadcaster Pro?

Image
I'm not noticing anywhere near the amount of gripes about SAM Broadcaster on social media that I used to see 5/6 years ago. The forums don't seem to be attracting as many complaints that they once did either. Although they've made the forums READ ONLY. Download figures for RadioDJ would suggest that not many people are paying Spacial Audio for software now. It was 2010 when I switched from SAM Broadcaster to RadioDJ I switched because I was sick of SAMBC not performing as it should & it crashed regularly and required reinstalling after every crash. I have NEVER had a major issue with RadioDJ Or any standalone encoders I've streamed with since 2010 RadioDJ handles everything I throw at it and is as Stable & Reliable and doesn't crash like SAM Broadcaster Pro If anything has taken RadioDJ off air it was computer hardware related. Disc Drives FAILING
