Sam Broadcaster Unable To Send Data Fast Enough

Image
Have you ever encountered this problem with SAM Broadcaster Pro Unable to send data fast enough Encoding paused until buffer clears Then you'll know how frustrating it can be when that error message appears in Encoders window. SAM Broadcaster Pro has taken my stream offline many a time with that darn buffering message. It has happened to different people with different ISP's and different Shoutcast/Icecast hosts/connections. When the encoders in SAM Broadcaster encounter this problem. I can guarantee you it's NOT your Internet connection or your computer at fault. Its those damn encoders not being coded properly. I have searched and read multiple posts on the forums and have yet to find a fix for this buffering problem It started off happening 1-2 times in a day and now won't even go a full song without disconnecting A long time user recently said this when they ran into this issue. I am presently having a major issue with m

A Fool And Their Money Are Soon Parted!

Most people know I dislike a program called SAM Broadcaster Pro made by Spacial Audio Solutions LLC I gave SAM Broadcaster all the chances in the world over a good 12 year period. SAM Broadcaster went wrong on different computers it wasn't just confined to One computer. Please let me explain a little as to why I hate that piece of software so much: I discovered Internetradio in 1999 when I first started using the Internet Although It was 2002 before I got the chance to DJ online Early versions of Streaming Audio Manager v1.3 required Winamp as a backend player and it was absolute pants. SAM Broadcaster wasn't great when you went to add a music folder It would crash & lockup before it imported all of the songs. In 2002 one of the stations I listened to was advertising for DJ's so I signed up & I ended up with a regular weekly radio show. They supplied SAM Broadcaster v2.7.9 & the keys to the software which I presumed

Sam Broadcaster Bad Audio Processing (Distorted Audio)

Image
Recently searched through Audiorealm and started tuning into a few random radio stations. Some of them sounded OK(ish) & Some of them did not. The reason for the poor distorted audio quality on some of the stations was immediately clear. They were using badly ripped files or the sound processing in SAM Broadcaster Pro wasn't configured they sounded Distorted You know a SAM Broadcaster station when you come across one The badly coded website or #audiorealm on the Shoutcast server page gives it away I could never get a decent sound out of SAM Broadcaster even with the built in sound processing. Hey Spacial when will you exchange that lousy and terrible sound output with Professional Audio as used on regular Radio (Web) Stations? We think the sound processing in SAM is a rehash of a Winamp plugin called SoundSolution. Last time I tested the DSP version of Sound Solution it crashed and locked up the computer running RadioDJ. The audio would never s

Large Playlist Freezes RadioDJ?

Image
Someone tweeted me recently to say they were going to try RadioDJ free radio play out software. Later on I received this Post: @DJGaryBaldy After spending time with RadioDJ it isn't looking good It Can't seem to handle loading a large playlist without freezing Marius the author of the software stated this before on the forums about playlists: I don't recommend you to load a single large playlist Otherwise it will slow the program down The user went on to mention the number 25,000 in a later Tweet regarding loading the playlist into Winamp. Our key library is a randomized playlist of over 25,000 tracks If that's the size playlist he was trying to load into RadioDJ then there's no wonder RadioDJ froze. Its down to the processing power of your PC & the amount of connections MySQL can handle It's NOT a limitation of RadioDJ! We'd imagine other radio automation software would lock up, crash and freeze if you tried loading a 25,000 tra

Sam Broadcaster Crossfade Problems

Image
As hard as I tried I could never get SAM Broadcaster to transition smoothly between songs. I'd either end up with a few seconds of dead air or a complete car crash of a crossfade. All my files were ripped properly and volume levelled so that wasn't the issue. It happened with every version of the software from v2.7.9 through to the newer versions. So it's not just a problem confined to one version of SAM Broadcaster but every single version of it. The default settings would cut the end of songs off & jingles and station ID's would never fade/play properly. I even tried settings suggested by Festerhead on the SAM Broadcaster forums but that only made the issue worse. We think Spacial Audio ripped off a Winamp DSP plugin called SQR Crossfade to make the fadeout feature in SAM. I need a little help with cross-fading when there is a voice-track or Station ID SAM Broadcaster cuts off the last second of the track Where would I deal with that? Can

The Most Perfect Piece Of Music Playout Software

Image
Q: Have you ever found the most perfect piece of music playout software? I've tried LOTS of music playback software over my 20 or so years on the Internet. Winamp, Foobar, Real Player, Windows Media Player, Musicmatch Jukebox, SAM Broadcaster, SAM Party DJ Some pieces of software were OK for playing music and some of them would crash if I added a large folder of music into them. This is a Quote from a RadioDJ User: This release is the closest thing to Perfect! Certain Radio Automation Software couldn't Crossfade very well and I'd end up with a CAR CRASH transition betweeen songs. RadioDJ excels at crossfading, It has a better Cue Point editor than some paid for software. It was 2010 when I first used RadioDJ and I haven't looked back since. RadioDJ has been the bedrock of my music automation since I discovered it via a search in
