I've been into Internet radio for a long time now (Over 20 Years) In all those years I've learnt a lot of things about streaming on the Internet. It's been a fun thing to learn about although at times it's been hard work because software wasn't up to the job. So you've installed RadioDJ and imported your music and you're stuck as to what track rotations are let me try and explain a little. Track Rotations in RadioDJ selects the music only from the categories you tell it to choose from, You can have multiple rotations for different moods, just don't forget to save the rotation once you've created it. Also make sure when creating a rotation item that the repeat rules boxes are checked so you don't have any repetition in songs. Important: Try not to apply repeat rules to Sweepers, Jingles or Station ID's You need them to be available for the rotation to load into the queue. If you've recently discovered RadioDJ free radio automation software and you're confused as to what zones are then let me explain a little. RadioDJ is split into 4 zones (3 usable) and this is where plugins live. Zone 1: This is where the main playlist lives. DO NOT PUT any other plugin in this zone. Its best if you leave the playlist in Zone 1 and add other plugins to zones 2,3,4 You have the option to change the playlist to either list or slot mode from the plugins menu (options>plugins) by clicking on the settings of the playlist plugin.
