I went for a look on the Icecast forums and found some really useful information on How To Get Listed on Icecast. I had my stream up and running but it wasn't listing us on the Icecast directory. I've written a short guide to how you get listed on Icecast and InternetRadio. First you need to find this line in the configuration file <hostname>localhost</hostname> Where it says localhost you need to put either the IP or web address where your Icecast server is running from. How do you import a Shoutcast or Icecast stream into RadioDJ? 1) Open Track import from the options menu; 2) Select track category as "Radio Shows" set a genre and subcategory; 3) Select track type as "Internet Stream"; 4) Paste the address of the server (into the path/URL box) you want to relay such as this; (e.g 184.164.135.114:8085) 5) Give it a Name from the details tab & then click import; 6) Then set an event up to load it as a track at the time you want to start relaying the stream; 7) After you have finished relaying the stream just set another event up to start playing the next track; Make sure you TICK the box Use original stream title if you want to relay the song information from the stream you are importing.
