I've just tried looking at the Changelog For SAM Broadcaster

I keep getting an access denied message

Are Spacial Audio really THAT PARANOID?

Is Spacial Audio being ran by Children or Adults? Bit Childish blocking referals from this website!

There were 3 releases of SAM Broadcaster in 2019 the last 2019 version was released back in August 2019.

A couple of those releases seem to have been fixes for stuff that was broken such as Album art look up

Spacial Audio don't appear to have added that many new features into the software in 2019.

Its mainly MySQL 8 and MariaDB support that's been added in 2019.

Spacial are way behind the curve with MariaDB support

I've been using MariaDB since 2014

They put in a file manager but again they're way behind the curve on features like that as RadioDJ has a better file/track manager.

Apparently there is a single developer in charge of coding Spacial Audio software maybe that’s why things have been a little slow?

What exactly is it you're getting in exchange for your $299 or $699 subscription every year?

Not a great deal it would appear!

People paying to subscribe to SAM Broadcaster haven't been getting value for $$$ since they started the subscription model back in 2013.

We really don't know why people pay Spacial Audio for SAM Broadcaster Pro/Studio because its clear Spacial do NOT care for their software.

SAM Broadcaster is in the same state it was in 20 years ago with the same glaring bugs that stop people in their tracks time after time.

A lot of broadcasters have already seen through Spacial Audio and their annual subscription plans by switching to RadioDJ

The message is simple: If like a lot of Former SAM users you are FED UP with Spacial Audio
and their lacklustre software YOU need to vote with your Wallet and go elsewhere for software

if you are looking for an alternative to paying out $$$ every year then you really do need to switch

I've just looked at the updated changelog for SAM Broadcaster 2020 & subscribers have only had 2 NEW FEATURES added in 2020.

The rest of the changes were fixes for stuff that was broken in SAM Broadcaster in 2019.

So the "Notes Window" & "Schedule Maintenance" features have cost new users $150 per change

RadioDJ has had a "Notes" function for years. Just how far behind tech wise is SAM Broadcaster?

Its Shameful that Spacial Audio just plod along year on year without really updating their software or fixing any of the GLARING BUGS!
