SAM Broadcaster Players Are Stuck (Unable To Apply Settings Error)
A user recently posted on the forums with issues they were having on their computer.
I am getting the Players Are Stuck problem with an errorThe user omitted which version of SAM Broadcaster this was happening with and has stated nothing else is using the soundcard.Unable to apply settings. Error: [Main] Unable to create DirectSound object Code: $88780078
Make sure that the sound card is not being used by another application.
I have seen the players get stuck in SAM many a time, Which then usually meant a REINSTALL from scratch.
It gets tiring when SAM goes wrong and stops working for no apparent reason.
This is a typical error message within Windows Error logs from when SAM goes TITS UP!

This user having these issues with SAM should switch software I see them on the Spacial Audio forums regularly with one issue or another.
You don't stick with software when it constantly GOES WRONG!This user really should switch to something a LOT more reliable don't you think? You say OK I've had enough ofthis bullcrap! Like I did way back in 2010
I was FED UP to the back teeth with SAM Broadcaster going wrong

Hey DJ001Given how often I saw you complain on the SAM forums
Isn't it time you said goodbye to SAM and used something that won't let you down??
Yes RadioDJ does occassionally write errors to the Windows Logs but I've personally never seen it CRASH OR REFUSE to play music/jingles
RadioDJ is better coded than SAM Broadcaster Pro as its written in .NET and has a great proven uptime
