Blocking You Blocking me (Aha!)
It was a Studio 54 Tribute station and even though it was a low bandwidth stream 32kbps is still sounded good.
Fast forward to 2026 and I still try and listen to radio 📻 on the Internet and every so often I come across a half-decent stream that I enjoy.
I recently came across a station named after a Annoyed Insect cant use their proper name their DJ's might threaten me on Social Media again.
I'd been listening to the station throughout the week and on the weekends and I was enjoying the eclectic mix of music.
Even if the audio kept auto ducking and cutting out on the Android app.
I made a comment on one of the stations DJ's Bluesky Profile.
I mentioned a joke they told about Columbia had been told on B3ta some years earlier.

Next thing I knew I had notifications telling me I'd been blocked by several "Annoyed Insect" DJ profiles
I've been Trolled by the DJ on Bluesky since (via their multiple profiles) and I find the posts unpaletable and unprofessional.
They've turned out to be quite the artist.

DJs like that are something you don't need on a Radio Station.
Radio presenters are supposed to be Fun, Upstanding and Professional.
The DJ reminds me of a "Program Controller" on an Oldies station I did shows for in 2002 they were arrogant too
I noticed that the DJ was having a Spat with another DJ who used to DJ for the station so it's not just me they targeted with their Bile and Vitriol.
The station in question may have been going for 8 years but it won't last much longer if the DJ's keep blocking potential Listeners on Social Media over Trivial issues.
Message to the owners of the Annoyed Insect station you need to GET RID of this DJ to stop them being RUDE to people
The DJ may well "BEE" 🐝🐝🐝 popular with some listeners but they have ZERO people skills on Social Media.
