Gapless Playback (The Holy Grail Of Audio Playback)

For a long time I tried to get Gapless Audio Playback in various pieces of audio software.

Winamp didnt crossfade very well even with the use of SQR Soft Plugins.

Sam Broadcaster was questionable for its crossfade sometimes you'd get gaps or a car crash fadeout.

MusicMatch Jukebox came close to gapless playback but still wasn't Ideal. Video Lan (VLC) always left gaps between tracks,

I tried a host of other audio playback software and I couldn't get gapless audio with them there was always silence between tracks.

Step foward RadioDJ I first discovered RDJ in 2010 and ever since then I've had great audio crossfades even with tracks that end suddenly.

The only time I haven't had a decent crossfade in RadioDJ is when a Cue Point wasn't set at the beginning or end of a track.

That was easily remedied using Cue Edit, A bonus with RadioDJ is you can set cue points in both the Database and Audio File(s).

I think I have all my tracks in my 10 year old Database set correctly because I don't hear any silent gaps in my playback on my laptop.

Once setup you can leave RadioDJ to do it own thing (Which is automate Music)
