How To Install RadioDJ

Once you have RadioDJ installed you will need to go into Categories to edit the categories you want your music to appear in.

Then choose the categories for your music to reside in in your database.

radio dj category manager

Once you've sorted your categories you'll be wanting to import the music

radiodj options menu

You do that from the options menu Track Import imports a single track Directory Import imports a folder of music.

Once your music is imported you will need to setup custom rotations you also do that from Option>Track Rotations

When you create a Track Rotation you have the option to save it into the database. Give it a memorable/unique name.

Example:

You add categories into the rotation from the Green+ button.

The last button at the top left is duplicate item, When building a rotation this button will duplicate the category you just chose.

It makes building rotations easier.

After you've done that and the music is playing away nicely then the job is almost done.

If you want different styles of music at different times of day then you use events to load your track rotation at a set time.

Events can be found via Option>Events or by clicking on the BIG BAR at the bottom of RadioDJ

Once you have all that sorted you can keep playing with rotationsuntil you have your music fully automated.

It will take time to get used to RadioDJ don't expect to learn everything about the software straight away.

Like all software it will take time to get used to what things do within the program.

However should you get really stuck don't be afraid to post on the RadioDJ community forums
