There are pieces of software you can broadcast with and a stand alone encoding program will stream to a Shoutcast or Icecast server.
I tend to recommend either:
Sound Empire Caster:
MB Recaster:
10/03/2021 The MB Soft website is down due to the OVH fire it should be back by 22nd March 2021
Download MB Recastera> How To Activate An Encoder
Tip: You can connect the RadioDJ history plugin to the CurrentListeners.txt file in MB Recaster.
You don't need to spend money on other expensive radio software offerings anymore.
You can get Shoutcast servers for FREE too if you do your research on Google
Teaching kids how to broadcast radio would possibly be one of the coolest things you could do.
Please Note: In order to be legal in your country of origin you will need a licence to streamYou could risk a big fine for not having the correct licences
Speak to licencing authorities before you embark on any projects
For help with RadioDJ use the Community Forums where one of the many volunteers will answer your questions.
An updated user manual written by a user of RadioDJ Is now available for Download
Who knows you could just spawn the next big radio talent!
